Phone Phases of Relationship Life Cycle

Conversation #1. Introduction Phase.

Man: “Hey there.”
Woman: “Hey. Hi. How are you?”
Man: “I am ok. And you?”
Woman: “Just finishing up some work.”
Man: “Good. You know I can’t stop thinking about you.”
Woman: “I have been thinking about you too.”
Man: “You looked so great last night.”
Woman: “Thank you.”
Man: “I was wondering if I can see you tonight?”
Woman: “Well, we could meet around 8.”
Man: “That works. Iw ill pick you up.”
Woman: “Ok. I’ll see you later”

Conversation #2. Growth Phase.

Woman: “Hello”
Man: “Hey babe. How are you?”
Woman: “I am fine. Thank you. And you?”
Man: “You are fine! I feel so much better now that I hear your voice. ”
Woman: “Really?”
Man: “Yes. I miss you.”
Woman: “I miss you too.”
Man: “I will see you later tonight?”
Woman: “Yes. I can’t wait.”

Conversation #3. Maturity Phase.

Man: “Hello”
Woman: “Hi. How are you?”
Man: “I am good. Kind of busy.”
Woman: “Oh really?”
Man: “Why? What’s up?”
Woman: “Nothing. Just wanted to say hello.”
Man: “Ok”
Woman: “Well. I will let you get back to work now?”
Man: “Ok.”
Woman: “I will talk to you later?
Man: “Ok”

Conversation #4. Decline Phase.

Man: “Hello” *huffs and puffs*
Woman: “Hi. You sound busy.”
Man: “I am busy.”
Woman: “Work?”
Man: “Yeah.”
Woman: “Ok.”
Man: “I gotta go now. I’ll catch you later.”
Woman: “For what?”
Man: “Don’t know. I mean to catch up or something.”
Woman: “Yeah. Right.”
Man: “Can we talk about it some other time. I am really busy.”
Woman: “You sure you are at work?”
Man: “Yes… I got to go now. I call you later?”
Woman: “Whatever.”
